Do I Lose My Photos If I Upload Them To Shutterfly
shutterfly.com - your photo are permanently store on shutterfly.com
When y'all upload your photo to shutterfly.com, they are permanently stored on shutterfly.com. Later on you delete them, you cannot see your photograph but they are in shutterfly.com database.
I contacted shutterfly, they assure me that my photograph are on shutterfly.com, they say what I see is cached on my local disk drive. I promise I am incorrect. Can you guys attempt the following :
upload a photo to shutterfly.com
click a photo to b east selected then it has bank check marking.
Motion your cursor to depression correct hand corner, a triangle with prove.
Selection 'post to facebook, blog.' in the driblet down list.
Click next.
Click 'Get embed code' just above Done button.
Copy the content in Permalink address box . This is the address your photo will be store permanently on shutterfly, even afterwards yous delete you photo.
click Shut click Done.
At present delete your photo.
Paste the content to your brower address bar, encounter your photograph once more ?

Why don't you just give us the URL to the photograph you think shutterfly is storing against your will and so nosotros can check whether we are able to meet it?
And if you don't want us to run across any of the particular photos you already take there, create a new one for the purpose? I for i am non going to become through all this attempt for zero, pitiful

If yous clear your browser'south enshroud, do yous still come across it? As well, where did you show your image? If could be that the site where you posted your image is maintaining a re-create of the image on their ain servers.
Sometimes with certain photo sharing sites, it takes a while for their own servers to end rendering an image later it has been deleted. It could be that their site scans for revisions after a gear up number of hours.

My message is to warn shutterfly.com users that their photos are permanent stored in shutterfly.com database fifty-fifty later on you delete the photo.
Since y'all are not a shutterfly.com user, no worry for y'all.

It's true, Shutterfly does shop your photos after they accept been "deleted forever". When I signed on information technology showed me my personal store offer plaques, mugs, phone cases, etc .. all of which displayed pictures which had in one case been uploaded but were long gone. I Googled how to cull what pics I want displayed in the store and found this forum. I logged on from another estimator, one on which I had never previously been to Shutterfly and there they were again. Then, it's definitely not a "browser enshroud" upshot.
Off-white warning. When yous hear that what you post is on the net forever, it's true. Deleted does not hateful deleted. Think first, then post!
